hi can anyone help, my media center pc went down loseing all files off winxpmedia, i had no disc to reboot, so i loaded winxp pro which worked with errors, if i shut down i would hav to load win again, now i have purchaced new winxpmedia center 2005 (genuine)when iloaded this it justloaded xp nothing else, and same thing if i shut down????????????????????????????????///
ok so ur saying that media center doesnt load your media files, right? If this is the case, maybe you should run a search (clik start, then search) and see what it finds. If it finds nothing then it sounds like you lost all ur shit forever ha ha! lol well maybe not. even if you wiped your drive it still is possible to "un-delete" some of these files but you will probably need to buy a prog that can do this. That, however, is something i havent done in years.
