Hey guys. I have made a new hard drive for a friend to put into his Xbox. Everything worked fine, but for some reason my computer is being stupid and xboxhdm will NOT lock the drive. I know I did everything right up to this point. I downloaded config magic, but I have NO idea how to begin using it to fix my problem. Can someone offer me some advice here on how to lock this drive? I would greatly appreciate it.
Nevermind. I figured it out on my own. It had something to do with my primary IDE auto detection in the PC bios. Thanks anyways...
the only thing i can come up wit is that the drive maynot be compatible, should check the list (google) it should lock if u have the eeprom on the disk
