locked out of adminitrator account

    I have a HP Windows XP computer. I set my computer private and put a password on it, but i forgot my password [haven't been on it for a while] now it wouldn't let me in. Is there anyway i can recover it or recover my computer? HP computer doesn't have recovery disks.

    Mate log in as Admin via safe mode and then got to your accounts and make a copy of the same one without the password and then remove the password protected one.

    I can't log in safe mode. everything had been locked. i only enter my computer with guest account. I can't install anything either.

    When the computer is starting up press F8 and u will get a Windows XP start up menu and choose safe mode.

    U should still be able to do that.

    It usually after the first screen just reapettly press F8 Till u see a menu screen pop up and then choose Safe Mode ether with or without Network Support.
