Gota DELL 2400 here of a buds that we can't get into the administration setting because we get a (restrictions)pop that says "this operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. please contact administrator" but he says he put no lock on,,he did have lots of viruses and spyware we cleaned out. we are unable to uninstall programs or get to "my control panel" because of this any ideas?? windows XP
I am thinking of you to go to safe mode and try access the admin there if that does not work and ur locked out you may need to get your hands on a software called hiren boot cd. It can wipe any admin passwords that maybe locking you out. you can find a link on my profile page.
