Is there a way to lock a program from being closed without a password. Like iTunes for example I would like to turn my laptop into a jukebox for a party, but don't want the computer to be used for anything else.

Just set your screen saver to resume with a password. Set the activation for a minute, or so. After you get the tunes set. Let the screen saver start, then to access the computer you will have to enter a password.

You could also do the ctrl+alt+del and then lock the computer. That takes effect as soon as you click on lock comp.
