I have a set top DVD recorder that I use like a VCR. What I want to do is edit out the commercials that I've recorded. I've posted this request elsewhere and have gotten only partial answers. What I need is something pretty basic (simple) that even someone with less than zero patience (myself) can understand and perform. I've found instructions and a list of programs at another site that just won't cut it. The list of steps is over 30 steps and it requires 7 differend programs. I can write to my harddrive with DVD Decrypter but from that point on I get totally lost. Can someone please help me out here, maybe steer me towards some simple software and some simple instructions. Please!
