Im not all that happy with the lity I have...sometimes a blue screen come up and tell me to check the latest software [none] or hardware [lity] for up-dates...I have the latest firmware and hate rebooting in the middle of a burn...never have this issue w/ my Benqs or any of my cheap sonys when I first started

[home damage] and wants to burn them form his HD becouse he has an old PC w/ a 80 gig or something..the point is and I should of laid it out better [sorry] he wants to back them up on disks- thats the way he wants it thats the way Ill try and make it happen for him... I just do not have any interst in exsternal dirves and therefore asking and dont want him to spent a arm and a leg...he will not be bunishing his drive as we do...

Reviewed By: YourLittleSister on 1/29/2008 Tech Level: somewhat high - Ownership: 1 week to 1 month
This user purchased this item from Newegg.com
Pros: It has burned everything I have thrown at it so far.
Cons: I bought this ""philips"" burner to get away from Lite-on. It is just rebranded lite-on. Every other lite-on device I have bought has failed so I was very dissapointed when I saw the lite-on brand name in the power supply. Philips may have made the case, but inside it's a lite-on. Also, the USB cord is very short.
Other Thoughts: I'll write another review if it fails. I expect it to fail just after the warranty is up.
