    Hi everyone,

I'm looking for a [bold]new[/bold] powerful, but fairly inexpencive PC. I'll have anywhere from $1500 - $2000.(USD) I first thought of Best Buy, but then maby it would be better to build one.

I am looking for a AMD dual core prosseser. I don't know what the numbers mean after the X2. The higher the better I'm guessing...

    Two gb memory? I think...

Don't know what video card or sound card I would need to play some of the newer games.

I would like a really cool looking case. (lights, windows, exc.)

And thats all I really have as guidelines. Can you guys tell me what elce I need and how to get it?

    Thanks for [bold]any[/bold] help!

    Hi,

I just bought a new PC with your specifications and will be putting it together tomorrow hopefully. I will let you know how well it performs after I test it out. IT cost around 2000 dollars with many high performance parts. It may be two days from now when I post the results.

It would deffinately be better to build it yourself.

I have it running and it is VERY FAST with a AMD X2 3800+.
For some reason it will not boot with the 4800+ but i am trying to figure it out.

The motherboard needed a bios update to recognize the AMD X2 4800+.
To update the bios i had to use my AMD X2 3800+ CPU so the computer would boot.
I have not used the 4800+ yet on the computer, but with the 3800+ the computer was already FAST!
