What can I get for my money for £110-£150? how much is one with a HDMI output standing me at? I'm looking for one to game with but not at mega high settings. And is there a high def card that can upscale my films and older games to high def?

    Thanks in advance,
    James.

Get an ati radeon 4670, that's what I have. It has the HDMI output and is a decent video card for playing games. It doesn't require a seperate power plug like some of the other cards. The only problem I notice with this card is the FAN, it is on the loud side. It got to the point where I removed the video card fan, and just installed a 80mm case fan to blow on the card heatsink (problem solved for me).

I also have the ati radeon 4350, it also has HDMI output and I also use it to play the occasional game with no problems. The 4350 has a large heatsink (no fan). For the price, this card plays every game that that the 4670 plays.

I recommend both of them, I paid US 40.00 for the 4350 and 99.00 for the 4670 (but you can find them for 80.00 on the internet).

You can check youtube to see if these cards will play the games you have.

Nvidia is only worth while if you have an unlimited budget, and even then it is only slightly faster than ATI.

The HD4890 is an excellent choice, very powerful.
