I have a sony vgn-s150 But the burner only burns cds not dvds it plays dvd but i can not burn on to dvd..Does anyone no were or if its poss to get a burner to replace the one i have if so were as i carnt find anywere...I dont want a external dvd burner but if i have to then i get one id prefer just to take the one i have out and put a dvd/cd burner in....
A DVD burner was not a factory option for this laptop, therefore if you want to put a burner internally you will have to find one that 1)physically fits (faceplate form factor is the key) and 2)driver interface. You will need to remove the existing drive to verify that the laptop interface is the standard slimline optical interface (d-shaped PATA).
