I've been looking around for ways to have SNES, Genesis, and DS games emulated on my DS and I've read lots of different information, but the problem is most of the stuff I read was outdated. I'm not looking for something that can hold gigabytes worth of data (although I wouldn't mind if it could) or has a ton of features, I just want something that can play my roms at a decent speed, maybe play MP3/movie files, and has little chance of bricking my DS. I have a normal DS, and looking for something that's $20 or under after delivery fee. If I can't find anything like that for $20 or under, I'm happy to just be able to play SNES/Genesis roms.

All flashcarts will do what you require.

    1) Avoid anything with R4 in the name if you want a trouble free experience.

    2) AceKard, EZ Flash, M3 Real and Cyclo DS are all good carts, there are cheaper but some are poor or have too many clones around.

www.dealextreme.com has free delivery (if you are prepared to wait 2-3 weeks.

I ended up getting this http://www.realhotstuff.com/dstt-microsd-bundle-p-363.html

Hopefully it'll work great, I read some info on it and the site said the only game that won't work is Contra 4, which is no big loss because I'm not really a fan of the Contra series to begin with (Metal Slug all the way =D)

It was delivered this morning. I compared it to the cards on the NDSTT site and it's the real deal =D Tried it with New Super Mario Bros and it works perfectly, and Moonshell works as well. I definitely recommend this card, and buying from that site.
