Anyone know a good anti-spyware program out there that's free? I'd like it to be a program that I can open and run at any point in time to scan all my files and remove any spyware found. There was one program that I heard of but I can't think of the name of it right now. I think it started with an "H" and was called _______ Pro? But I'm not 100% sure on that. I do know it was freeware. Thanks!

well here is my freeware spyware solution, SpywareBlaster & SpywareGuardian from javacoolsoftware.com, Adaware Personal freeware version. some ppl also like spybot search and destroy. If you are running a genuine copy of WinXp microsoft has an excellent free one coal Microsoft AntiSpyware Beta all of these combine well with spywareblaster which actually gives your pc a sort of preventive inoculation from known spyware. good luck

I use Spyware Doctor, Lavasoft Ad-Aware SE, and Spybot Search and Destroy. All are free, and you can get them all at download.com.

I use Ad-aware from Lavasoft, Spybot S & D and also one named A squared....all three are free for home users. You can get a squared at http://www.emsisoft.com/en/
I have used all three and have all three installed at the same time. I have found that even after running one of them, another will still find things.

Yea, I was going to suggest to you to use more than Spybot S&D. Out of the three I listed, Spybot always finds the least problems even when I run it first.
