I am deciding on what DVD-RW drive I should get, so that I can burn PS2 games and play them on my Flip to W\ Swap disk. I also would like to be able and watch DVD movies and maybe if I have time burn DVD movies as well
I was wondering if anyone has any suggestion on what is the best DVD-RW drive to buy for a fairly reasonable price.
    Thanks

My personal advice would be to get either a Pioneer a05/a06 or a Sony500...

I personally have an A05 and works greatly, going on a year now...

Yea I was looking at the Sony 500 up at Bestbuy, but they want $350 with a $50 mail in-rebate. Have they come out with the Pioneer a06, I can't seem to find it just the Pioneer a05. Thanks

The Sony is perfect if your interested in burning -R and +R, and the A06 will be the same...

The Pioneer is perfect for me. It only burns DVD-R and CD-R, and thats fine cause dvd-r is the cheapest format around... Plus A05 is only around $182.00...

Go for the Pioneer 105, forget about +/- formats unless you really need both. In a few years time Blue Ray will be released properly and we will be changing everything!
