looking for a good upconverter

    im looking for a upconverter and i have no clue whats good. my price range is 120 max. can somebody recommend a good upconverter that does the job well?

    also, can a hd dvd player work as a upconverter? i saw some hd dvd players on ebay that are cheaper than upconverters themselves, so i migh t get that.
