I have a security application where I want to sometimes leave a camcorder running for an extended period, for example for 15 hours. A problem I have encountered is that most HD camcorders will stop recording at either 12 hours or 13 hours. There can be plenty of hard disk space remaining, and so I'm guessing that this is some sort of limitation inherent to the software used within camcorders. Does anyone know of a digital HD camcorder that can continuously record for at least 15 hours?
