Looking for a little help.....

I am looking for a simple program that will tell me when the computer was turned on, and then turned off. I don't need to know which sites have been visited and i don't need a keyllogger, just something where I can monitor when the computer is actually being used. Any suggestions would be most appreciated. Thanks in advance!

What operating system are you using?

Do you know how to access your event log?

 

Win Xp home edition, and no I don't know how to access the event log.....thanks.

 

Not an expert in this area, but you could go to:

control panel / admin tools / event viewer

and look for event log entries under the system subheading for 'eventlog' starting and finishing.
