I’m sure people are bored to death with questions like this. But, I got a new HP (a1640n) computer. It came with a LG GSA-H30L SATA Lightscribe burner. I would like to add a second burner; it does not need to have Lightscribe capability. I thought I was going to be able to transfer the Pioneer 111D from my old computer. However, everything is SATA on the new motherboard (no IDE). I’ve searched many hours online, but can’t seem to find much recently dated data/reviews/recommendations on SATA burners. Please... does anyone have any recommendations (within a reasonable price)? Thanks a million in advance.

    Hi gentjon
Plextor makes sata drives. Price wise you're looking at $100+ range.
LiteOn - another good drive makes them also for less than 1/2 of that price.
You can check here for others by searching for the what specs you want.
