Avi or mpeg into AC3 (5.1) DVD.My nero freezing while transcoding latly.I always thought with nero when you transcoding a file,it gives you the audio option of 2.0 or 5.1.I always used 5.1 and when i play it on my home dvd player .The lights are on 5.1.Am I right or wrong?it sounds good to me to.
Skatdude As silly as this sounds, something as simple as a fragemented hard drive can cause a transcoder to freeze, run defrag and try again. Another possibility is over heating such as a warm room or bad ventilation. When transcoding with Nero it gives the option to select one or all sound tracks. I prefer to keep surround tracks since multi tracks play well on 2.0 stereo playback but really shines when a surround system is available to reproduce them.
I found out what it was,it was a cheap 430w power supply,i have a EVG Geforce 7600gt 259 ddr3 video card,and it was draining that power supply which just blew last night.Have better PSU and nero works fine.
