I have started using VLC media player but the one feature that I'm looking for I haven't been able to find. All I really want is the ability to have a media player with just the video window and no controls no menu bar nothing. Just the video window itself to minimize the amount of screen real estate it takes up. Does VLC have this option available? Is there a skin that would do what I'm looking for? What about WMP?
Try GOM Player, when you enter full-screen mode, after a few second all tool bars disappear, and there may also be a skin to let you do this when not in full screen. PS - It has a ton of options to help you improve the video you are watching, EG color/brightness/subtitle size and position Its free so it can't hurt to try
