looking for an IDE A-B switch

    Hello All,

    I am looking for an internal IDE switch for switching more then one hard
    drive into an IDE cable at different times. Any help would be very appreciated.
    This can be an A-B switch, A-B-C switch or A-B-C-D switch . Active switch
    would be nice, but I know the price can be prohibitive.

    there isn't any. try a pci ide controller card or use external usb hd's

    There are devices which let you have multiple hard drives on one controller (3 at most I believe) and select which one to boot from, but I dont think they exist so you can change while the machine is booted. Not in PATA format anyway.
