Had a friend come to me for help and I failed. Here is the situation Have alot of VHS tapes that he was backing up on DVD using a DVD/VHS recorder. Now they played perfectly in the same machine. Now that machine broke down and he purchased a new one and the old DVDs will not play on the new machine. I tried in 2 of my DVD players as well as in my computer. This DVD will not work in anything. The only thing I can think of is he forgot to finalize the DVDs. Is there anyway I can get this video off of these DVDs withought searching for the same model as machine number 1?
