Looking for someone to flash my xbox to latest FW

    You could start by reading this .pdf file. If you cannot figure it out, you could try craigslist. People on there usually offer to flash Xbox 360s.

    ok ive read thru it..but I dont know which drive i have..is it referring to the drive inside my xbox or my computer drive? How do i find out if it is the xbox drive?

    is opening my xbox the only way to find out what drive it is? Any1 got a instructional video on how to open 360z?

    ok i opened my xbox and removed the hdd..what is my next step?? thanks for all the quick replys offering help

    No offence or anything but read the damn jungleflasher guide and follow it. No one is going to hold your hand through this. The guide tells you exactly what to do.

    yeh but the jungleflasher doesn't tell me what drive i have..how do i find out what drive i have?

    Well you could do like I already told you and google xbox 360 drive pictures. Or you could read the label on top of your drive and it will tell you exactly what it is.

    ok one last thing i want to confirm before i get started... i have a laptop Pavilion dv2612ca ...its impossible to get to the motherboard is it still possible to flash?

    Your laptop would need to have the proper sata chipset (depending on what drive you have)

    No offfence, but you don't sound to familiar with computers and modding (like me), so i'd suggest just getting it modded by a pro. It's possible to totally screw up your drive so you can't play it anymore. Plus all the items needed cost about $50 (approx), and you can get it modded by a pro for less.

    dont worry, i sent him a PM as soon as i saw his thread telling him that i would gladly flash it for him, and since he already has the drive out, he could just mail it by itself as i dont need the console.
