Been looking into either Logitech or Microsoft. I'd prefer to have a gaming mouse so Microsoft isn't much help. I currently have a wired Logitech Click!, which is a little out dated and only fair for gaming. I've only used a couple of wireless mice and they all lagged bad, which turned me away from wireless but, that was a few years ago. Don't know if wireless mice have gotten any better. Just like to have some opinions on Logitech or Mircosoft(or other?) and wired or wireless.

Well, the last time [bold]i[/bold] tried a wireless mouse *3 months ago* it still had some lag when using it for gaming purposes...

Hmm, guess they'll never get rid of the lag...:( I'll probably go with the wired anyway. Now the decision of brand. Logitech seems to be on top the list. Been looking at the G5...anyone had any use with it?

Really? Cool...how much of a difference do you notice between a "regular" mouse and the G5 when playing a game(or anytime)? 'Cause I've been looking for a couple of days and I got alot on my list that look promising. What makes the G5 so great?

one word laser, g5's are great mouses look for a laser mouse with high DPI.
    G5:

g5's and g7's have high dpi ratings of 2000, standard optical mice have maybe around 200-400ish or higher. these mouses are better because there more precise, have many customizable options like weighting, sensitivity switches, battery indicators, extra buttons etc......

When I play cs. And set my mouse sensitivity to the highest, I notice the diffrence, for gaming its faster and much more precise.
