Loosing first seconds of track 1

After I "Copy" a CD with Nero Express 6, I get a problem on one of my players.
Mercedes Benz car CD, MB Audio 10 CD with vk and RDS.
The CD player does not like home made CDs.
I get this with both Data and Music blanks.
If I do a CD copy and try to play it, there is a problem with the first track.
It will not play the first 10 seconds or so of the first track.
Once it gets going, it works fine.
If I “forward” to another track, the same thing happens.
If you can find a solution to this I would be most grateful.
Is there a way to put a few extra seconds before the first track?
