Tried using 1 click with dvd43free and it won't work it copies it but won't copy the movie it copies some director comment thing with no sound then goes back to main movie title. Tried it with just the movie and same thing won't work. I then tried dvd shrink with no go and finally dvd decrypter and again nothing but errors and it won't do anything. If anyone has any luck let me know. Lorenzo
There is a new form of protection on Lords Of Dogtown. I ripped Lords Of Dogtown flawlessly using DVDFab Decrypter. Just open the program and select the drive of the DVD you want to rip. Then, choose a target - the folder where you would like to save the files. Now click start. It will then begin the ripping process. It will let you know when it is finished. When it is finished, you'll see a DVD folder where you chose the target. In this folder is an AUDIO_TS folder and a VIDEO_TS folder. Open up DVD Shrink and choose the AUDIO_TS. Shrink will begin to analyze the DVD you have saved. Once it has been analyzed, you'll then be able to choose what you want on the DVD. I backed up the main movie only by re-authoring the DVD and got 100% compression. When you have selected what you want to include on the DVD, just click on backup and it will ask you where to save the ISO (image) file. Choose a destination, click OK and you're all set.
Thanks I will DL that software. I did use Any DVD and the new software did let you copy the movie. It wouldn't let me copy the entire disc though just the movie part which is fine. But I will have to give this software a try. Lorenzo
The last update to AnyDVD, ver.5.4.4.1 addressed this movie. No problem. Use CloneDVD 2 with AnyDVD running & this one is easy. Slysoft took care of this before the release. They rule! I can't speak for any other software, but CloneDVD 2 with AnyDVD running makes this one very easy & fast. No need to rip to hard drive. That is as long as you have both reader & burner. If you have AnyDVD, I Highly recommend you download CloneDVD 2, which Slysoft provides with the usual 21 day Free trial. This combination so far is unbeatable. It took 19 minutes 53 seconds to do a Perfect back-up of the main movie. Using Sony Accucore DVD+R at 8X.
The latest version of DVDFAB Decrypter mentions "Lords Of Dogtown" in the update text. Changes from DVDFab Decrypter v2.9.4.2 to DVDFab Decrypter v2.9.5.0 Update: Improved "Sony ARccOS protection" detection and removal engine. New: Option "Remove Structure Protection" now supports a new version of "Sony ARccOS protection" as found on "Lords of Dogtown" (US). I've already triedit and it ripped fine
I tried backing up this movie using shrink and 5.441 running. All it gave me in reauthor was 4 titles that are spec features. When i try the full disc method i get a navigation alarm.I tried dvdfab and it worked but i just want the movie. No special features. Can someone help
I tried DVDFab Decrypter 2.9.5.0 and it ripped it to the hard drive but I get an error when I open the folder Video_TS with DVDShink "Invalid Data in File" in VTS_02_4.VOB Please help...
jbm2451 - You're choosing the wrong folder. That is why you're getting an error message. Choose the AUDIO_TS folder and you should be good to go.
There's nothing in the Audio_ts folder when I check properties it says zero bytes. I tried the Audio_TS folder first and got an error.
@jbm2451 Try using the reauthor button to bring up your my computer screen, browse for your movie and then just drag title one over to the compilation screen, and do the movie only. Unless of course you want the whole movie which I doubt Shrink will open, because it would not open mine.
Ok, after I used DVDFab I had to use VOBBlanker 1.6.0.3 then DVDShrink opened the new Video_TS folder I created with VOBBlanker. After unchecking some audio and using still pictures in the extras field I was able to shrink it down to 4365 and it burn it with Decrypter. There must be an easier way.
I used the latest version of DVDFab Decrypter to Rip. I then opened up DVD Shrink. Clicked on "OPEN FILES" I highlighted the VIDEO_TS Folder for the movie. Clicked "OK" DVD Shrink then analyzed the movie and all went well.
Had no problem backing up "LOD" using "DVD Decrypter" with "DVD43" running in the background, and then "Shrink". :>)
I tried using dvdfab decrypter to rip the movie and then tried copying with shrink and it keeps giving me a error message....invalid access to memory location? what the heck is that?? someone please help me
