Hey im having a problem with videos ive been encoding. Ive downloaded some family guy episodes in avi format and encoded them using AVI2DVD. When i watch them in avi on my computer they are the full episode.

What im doing is making a menu with VCD Menu Lite, then authoring the dvd using DVDAuthor GUI and from there shrinking th resulting files with DVD SHRink 3.2 then burning onto a dvd using NERO. But then when i play the dvd in my dvd player, im losing about the last 2-3 minutes of each episode.

Has anyone else encountered this problem or know what i should do fix it?
Also when avi2dvd converts it i am left with 6 files in the VIDEO_TS file. 2 BUP's, 2 IFO's and 2 VOB's(one about a gig and the other about 80meg). When i use DVDAuthor and click "add title" i can only choose one of these VOB files so i choose the larger one. And it wont allow me to add the smaller one due to no NAV packets etc. Is the reason for my shortened episodes due to the fact i cant add this second VOB file or something else?

Any help here would be greatly appreciated as ive managed to get this far without problems and then to lose the end of the episodes is irritating. Thanks

You can use VobEdit to demux the dvd structure to m2v and ac3 files.

Run VobEdit, click 'Open' and select VTS_01_1.VOB (the rest will follow), then click 'Demux' 'All Video' and 'All Audio'.

DVDAuthorGUI will load the m2v then the ac3 when you select the title.
