loss of channel names on digivox xl

hi, i'm new to this so take it easy.lol
i have updated my new digivox xl receiver and am getting all channels but all it's coming up on screen is names like TV101,TV102 etc.. not channel names like s*y sports etc.. is there a reason to this and is there any way i can solve it.

factory reset and autoscan again,do not scan thru splitters or extensions,and emu to on.

 

thanks just tried that but still no channel names.any other ideas

 

it is caused by low signal,after factory reset say 10 secs power off box/on to reboot and try again,early morning,late at night best time to scan.

 

works perfect now.thanks for your help

hi new to this site ,just bought a digivox xl & have all the channels but the problem is the program information is not updating itself as the programs change,the only way to update the information is to power off & on. is there a problem with the settings?

 

check ur settings current time -auto-summer time on in user setup.

 

All ready tried that made no difference ,anything else I could try

 

what vers are u running on xl?

V10-2.0000 -- vers 01

 

as far as i know there is vers 1220 which is latest try that,factory reset first,then reflash.
