Hi all great website, im looking for a good app to encode my dvd collection to divx/xvid or any avi file with minimal loss of quality, preferably lossless if thats possible. File size is not an issue with such cheap storage now available. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.
The most efficient way to go would be to leave them as MPEG-2. Any lossless codec is going to blow the filesize up significantly.
