My daughter has a NDS and has lost the ability to access her messaging screen. When she turns the DS on, it goes straight to her game. She doesn't know how to find her screen to message her friends. Can anyone help?
Remove the game cartridge and turn on the DS, once at the menu choose the small icon at the bottom of the screen that looks like a DS, this will load the settings, In the settings choose the spanner icon, then the icon that looks like an arrow pointing into a rectangle, now choose "Manual Mode". Select "Confirm" then "Go Back" then "Quit" You will get a message saying "The system will now shut down" say yes and the DS will turn off. Put the game back in and turn on the DS again and it should go to the menu
