Hi guys, read through a number of threads but couldnt find the answer to this. came home from work and all my channels are gone just had the blue box up saying bad info. have the 8.0 version. did the factory reset, CAS menu with emu and default key and tried to let it update on bbc1 like last time but it got stuck on 0% updating. so went to bbc2 and back into CAS menu and hit set default key again and exited out and still no proper update. tried it on discovery as well as one of you suggested on another thread. any ideas what other stations to try? and should i reset the box to factory settings then go through the whole procedure for each channel that i try?
No need for a factory re-set, there has been a roll today, try turning box off for a minute and then back on at the back, and try Sly sports 1, and see if it kicks in, it will eventually it is just a lazy update, try various channels it just needs a kickstart and a little patience.
so all i need to do is just turn it of and put it onto say sky sports and if that gets stuck on 100% then change channel to say sky sports 2 and see if that works and keep trying different channels till it does? i dont need to play around with the CAS menu or anyhting? great if i dont
Glad to be of assistance mate, yep it does happen, it is a lazy update, you probably will get it to update right away next time, if it doesn't though, at least you will know what to do! Cheers
