lost channels

i've just done a powerscan on a new eurovox max v and i'm not picking up bbc 3 and bbc 4. i seem to have every other channel but not these. could someone give me the frequency's and explain to me in idiot fashion how to do a manual scan. i'm in the north-east on telewest

 

bbc3 and bbc4 dont come on till the evening 7pm maybe this is why your not picking them up

 

i know i've already thought of that but i'm still not getting them.

 

Not to sure about the frequencies dixxy13 im over in Ireland but i think they may be on 291 so you need to go to menu installation user installation press channel edit green button,press the red button add,go to frequency key in 291 go to symbol rate key in 6952 press ok exit back to user installation press ok on the frequency youve just added and then press manual scan the blue button the channels will come in at the end off your channel list,if this is the wrong freq im sure some1 will come along and provide you with the proper 1

 

i'll give it a go but she's watching a film at the moment. cheers for the advice i'll let u know what happens
