Had a brief power outage..upon starting dvd recorder..noticed the programs i recorded on the hard drive were missing..actually there were thumbnails where thay had been with the correct data..just the image was missing but when trying to play them it just throws me out of the browser..Anyone else have a similar problem?? I called tech support the person there said the programs were lost..Ive recorded new programs since then and works fine..Should i just give up and erase the old ones? Any help would appreciated -glen
Once the recording are corrupted like that, they can not be recovered. Your best bet is to erase/reformat the drive from the utilities menu which will clear up any errors and start fresh.
