Hello, I own an 80 GB Video iPod and in the past year it has inexplicably deleted all of the music, videos, games and pictures several times. I do NOT have my computer set to auto-sync anything, yet occasionally when I connect my iPod to my computer it will display all of my files (music, movies, games and pictures) as "Other" instead of each of their own individual categories. And after displaying all of the files as "Other", my iPod will proceed deleting every last one of them. I have tried restoring my iPod multiple times and have made entirely sure that all of the files are not just hidden. While I do keep backups of all of the files that are deleted, reloading all of my music, movies, games and pictures is a huge annoyance. I occasionally hook my iPod up to my laptop instead of the main computer but after using both interchangeably for about a week I never once had a complete deletion. Neither is set to auto-sync and the deletions only happened when using the main computer exclusively. While I do not mind reloading all of my files I would just like to know if anyone else has had this problem and if anybody knows some possible reasons why this might be happening.
