Lost ms25 orig.bin but still have the key!!

hi all

i have a 360 with a ms25 drive in it . i lost the orig.bin file but still have the key.

now i want to flash it back to its original state. i was thinking of using another xbox's(with ms25) orig.bin and just putting the dvd key in and flash it back.. will it work.

if so.. where can i get that file??

i have an original firmware that came from a ms25 i can erase the key and send it to you if you want.

i don't mind as long is it will work , i am even having a little doubt about ms25 have different versions again.

Dude could you send me the Firmware for the MS25 also see I have a spare MS25 that I spoofed wrong so it's just sitting there my Benq i-xtreme 1.5 is super loud I'd like to switch it out I know how to do the spoof the right way now but I lack the original firmware also how the heck do you PM on these boards ?

How do I dl the firmware, it just takes me to another site (In Dutch or something).

 

just click on the link and go to:
xbox 360 then,
optical drive then,
Firmware then,
pick the retail one you need and put in the key!

 

When I click on the ms25 firmware (and the others)it takes me to a different site and doesn't dl.

 

yea, just tried this the site also, and it does the same thing to me. however, you should be able to find the FW you are looking for over at xbins i would imagine.

found this link to help you use xbins in case you've never used it before. i cannot verify that this method works as i havent done it, just found it while looking for the original stock MS25 FW for you.

i couldnt find my ms25 FW at home this morning; i think i mailed the only copy off when i sold the console a while back. but ill look in a couple more places that i might be hidden at.

I tried to reflash the drive with the firmware (with my key) but it is still doing the same thing. I used Firmware Toolbox to insert my key and used dosflash to write to the drive.

 

what the problem with it?

 

One light flashing (wrong firmware). I have tried the drive on two 360's and it does the same thing. The first 360 came with the drive, so I flashed it with the ms25 orig bin with my key. Then I tried it on another 360 that came with a Hitachi drive. I spoofed the ms25 drive and added my key and it still came up with wrong firmware. Does this mean my drive is bricked or am I doing something wrong????
