i was using programs to hide my dvd drive, trying to install a game, i unhide my dvd vdrive but a few days later my dvd drive disappeared, is there any easy way to get this back, i have used these programs again trying to unhide my drive but i cant get it to work, this really sucks, i need help!!! thanks
Hello Numbskul2 Is the drive a virtual drive or a windows drive? If it is a windows drive and you are running windows xp have you tried to delete the controller from Device manager under IDE controllers, windows will than reinstall it at start up. If the drive is a virtual drive you will need to reinstall it from the original cd. That is the easy way. Why do you want to hide the drive?
