lost my signal for eurovox max v

    Hi, I just bought another eurovox for nthell mmds and cut the cable in attic and used f plugs and 3 way splitter and now i have lost all signal, new box won't find any channels either. is it something to do with ntl or can i fix it somehow.

    I have now discovered that there is a little black booster box that should be disconnected first which i didn't do and now i have blown it by cutting cable. Does anyone know where i could get this box without calling out my provider
