Hi Recently Downloaded Lost Season 3 .... ... Total files are 8Gig ... Iv Downloaded the avi files onto 2 DVDs at the moment but what I require is to use them on my DVD player. I normally use the "export" software button on Nero to convert to MPEG ... but not sure if they will fit on this one as its 8 GIGs of avi files! Is there a way to put all the files onto one or two DVDs, with separate chapters for each Episode? I dont mind using 4 DVDs would be ace if it was no more than 4 so I could see them on my DVD Player ... I have downloaded DVDFlick, I have Nero 7 and I have AutoGK. Im using Acer, Pentium 4 processor with 512MB RAM.
either download DVD Shrink it will shrink them as the title suggests or you could buy some 8.5gig dvd re-writables
It took time ... but thanks for a reply. I have already put them onto 2 DVDs (4.3GB ones) but these are .avi files. They do not work on my DVD player only on my PC. What I want is them to work on my DVD player .... ... each Episode is about 350MB Good Quality in Windows Media Player .... Now I need to convert these 350MB files from avi to mpeg .... there's loads .... is there an easy way to do this? Or is it a long painstaking task?
No they wont work on dvd players as avi files they need to be converted to VOB files for them to play in DVD players and the best program to use is divx to dvd. On the spec of your pc should take no longer than 30 to 45 mins to convert each episode. Once you have converted them you need to use Nero 7 and use the program copy multiple files to dvd.
