Whenever I try to do something on my computer, like opening a program or even going to a site, my computer makes this really loud noise. It dies down after a bit, but once I click on another link, the noise comes back. I'm not sure if it's the fan that's making the noise. I went to check Windows task manager and no processes seem to be taking too much of the CPU usage.

This has only happened to me before when I convert videos, but now this problem has been continuing for the entire day. Can someone please help me? Thanks.

To find the noise you need to remove the pc's cover. If it has two then remove the left side. What your listening for in my opinion, is a cooling fan that's seizing or a HDD that's failing. The CPU has a fan, the case may have two or more, the video card has one and your power supply will have one or two.

Repeat what you have been doing to make the noise (grab a friend to help) and carefully inspect each and every fan. Hopefully it will be one of those. Now as a last inspection, is the noise coming from the Hard drive? Do you feel a vibration coming off the drive?
