low memory on c drive

    hi guy's,my sons desktop is allways flashing (low space available on c drive)done the de-frag bit about 10 times no joy ,he has a d drive with 40gb of free space why is it not useing this space & how can i fix this problem,many thanks

    when installing programs, have to tell it you want program installed to other drive. how big is his c:drive? try running ccleaner as have cleaned upto 12gigs off a customer's pc recently.
