I have an Xvid movie and was having some problems with sound. The sound is AC3... My problems are is that the sound is way too low. You can barely hear it at full blast! I have the ac3 filter on, but I was wondering if there was a way I could make the sound about 10 times louder, so I can at least hear it. Thanks for any help,
    Rat

    Hi Rat,
yes this is a known issue with AC3Filter,
go to AC3Filter Config, and on the Main Properties page there are Presets (bottom-left corner).
Select the 'Loud' preset - you will see that both the gains are changed to maxed-out, and the 'Normalize' is ticked.
For me it's all good except for the Normalize, but whether you use it or not, make sure you're gained up and hit 'Save' before you exit :^)

I believe this helped out a lot. Thanks for your information! I will see how this works out for the time being, but right now it works great. Thanks for the advice.
