    Hi,
I've boutgh the "Xbox Frozen Cable" for my xbox 1.1.
This cable allow my to use VGA monitor with XBOX.

This cable requires FrostyTheSnowman and Xman954s X2 5035 VGA BIOS v1.0 fixed on a modified Xbox.

I've tryed to flash this bios on my LPC SST 49LF020 modded XBOX and the results is a bad flash.

Now my xbox doen't boot anymore, the power led is green/led. I can eject the DVD tray and notthing more.

I know that I can remove the LPCMod and flash the TSOP. Really I'd like to reflash a correct TSOP.

My question is, what should i do?

I though to add a switch to the LPCMod, in order to temporary disable it, boot with the original bios, reflash the SST chip and then enable again the LPCMOD. I don't know it it is feaseble.

Is it enought cut the D0 wire in order to disable it?

    Any suggestion is welcome.
    Thanks in adwance

Hey man, what kind of modchip is it?
Also, what was the size of the BIOS that
    you flashed to it?

    Hi,
I have an LPC mod (also known as cheap mod).
The flash memory is 256Kb and I tryed to flash it with 512Kb BIOS.
Now my XBOX is not working and I'm trying a way to reflash the SST 49LF020.

Do you have an idea about how to flash it out of the xbox or fix the problem?
    Thanks

Well, i'm assuming you mean you did a TSOP flash without a chip.
Since you flashed it with the wrong size you'll have to use
a chip now. You could do a complicated trick to reflash the LPC(TSOP)
but it takes some work. IF you use a chip just use a 512kb bios on the chip and all should work fine. I use X25035 for a bios.
