Last night I was updating a few driver for the graphics card etc, done a re-boot, then an error came up before windows had fully loaded advising of lsass.exe having an error, and the screen froze after checking the box. I have the hardrive in work with me, and managed to copy all my personal files, but was wondering if there is anything to be done to fix the problem now that I can access the drive? Im doing a virus scan, but doesnt look like anything will be picked up.....tried doing a google, but for those that have had similar probs, a clean install seems always to be the way. Thanks
Are you scanning this drive with it hooked up to another PC? Or are you booting off of the drive, running windows off of it, and scanning Windows off of it?
