Hello, I use to have a liteon drive which now has a BENQ drive in it, I was wondering can I go ahead and update to 1.91 or do i still need to get hold of a liteon drive to do the dash update? or is there now another work around? Kind regards Hak
It's my understanding tha these newer dasboards can detect "spoof-age", leaving you at risk of a ban. Buy a Lite-On and sell your BenQ if you're worried about it.
You cannot update a spoofed drive unless it's a hitachi or samsung. You will need to have a liteon, update, then flash the benQ
Yep, update the liteon and than do this as it worked for me. If anything is wrong here please correct it. I don't know much about flashing xbox 360. Step 1.) To spoof a lite-on drive connect the lite on drive to the CK3 and made a CFW.bin file by loading the dummy.bin in the open source target and LT+1.91 into the open target firmware. Clicked on spoof source to target and than click on save to file. Step. 2) Next, loaded a Benq_CFW.bin file that you should have previously made,into the Open Source firmware and the Lite_CFW.bin into the TARGET FIRMWARE and click on Spoof source to target again. Finally, write to flash chip using MTK Flash 32 tab. It was a pain in the ass. But it worked
