    Maybe im just too naive or ignorant to understand this but when the new fw is flashed onto my xbox i would assume that it wouldnt corrupt my gamertag anymore because it wouldnt be able to recognize that i was playing a backup copy of these games.

    But if i understand what was mentioned earlier by Stealth my xbox is pretty much the same as an xbox that was banned for playing online with a modded console and will continue to corrupt my gamertag

    if your console is flagged then it cant be undone. the fw will allow you to boot new games yes. you can uncorrupt your profile to use on a different xbox but if you put it back on the flagged console it will corrupt again and you have to repeat the process to uncorrupt over again.

    Well i have a benq drive with 0800 hooked up to my computer and it ripped my copy of AC:Brotherhood with ssv3 for some reason, and it even detected the ap2.5 in abgx when I ran it thru just to see what it said.
