Lvllords'S Patch For Xp

    has an one tried out Lvllords'S EventID 4226 Patcher For Xp?
    If so what were the results? good/bad/noticeable

    Used to work fine with the halfopen connection limit problems i had.
    Don't use it anymore, but as far as i heard, it's still doing it's job.

    can i use the tcip file/files sfrom sp1?

    "The_Fiend" if i had the file/files backed up from sp1 coulnt i just overwrite what was in sp2?
    in theory?

    Nope, you would have to use the files that got replaced, modify them *like lvllord did*, then patch them in manually, which can be tricky.
    Hence lvllord making his patch, so folks wouldn't need to do it by hand.

    I'm paranoid when it comes to SP2, so i manually edit some stuff in it, including the TCP/IP.sys file, and put it on my customised slipstreamed XP disc.
