.m2ts not showing on PS3?

Hello all,

I've been following this thread for some time...

I have a file downloaded as a .m2ts but is simple isn't showing on the PS3 (I stream it via PC... Other files such as MPG, AVI, WMV appear and play fine)

What am I doing wrong?

If you are using TVersity you have to change .m2ts to .m2t

 

I am using the Nero Home server. I change my m2ts extension to mp4 and the ps3 plays it fine thus far

 

I'm using Cyberlink Media Pro, I do not rename... I win!!! Just kidding, I like this program because it works well with my media centre, there's no refreshing or updating folders... just monitor a folder and drop the file in, and most of all no renaming my m2ts files which I mainly use.

 

Ok, call me a newbie or an idiot... But I don't use a dedicated "server", I just activated SHARED network on Vista, and searched the a server on the PS3... It came up?

SHould I be doing otherwise?

What's the purpose of having a dedicated server software over Vista's standard network sharing option?

Smart move, if it works then why not. I'm gonna look in to this myself.

 

Since I already had Nero 8 i decided to use the Nero Home media. Thats why i use it.
