You need to use a DVD author sw such as ReelDVD, DVDit, etc to convert the m2v file to vobs.

www.vcdhelp.com has some guides on authoring progs.

Did you use rempeg2 to get the *.m2v file?
If yes, then you can remux the *.m2v stream with the audio stream by using IfoEdit. Open the VTS_01_X.VOB from which you picked out the video stream, click VOB Extras, set the option remux, undo the option strip streams, set the direction of the resulting audio/video stream and set the directory to your *m2v file. IfoEdit processes a new DVD compatible file.

There's a problem with .m2v from tmpeg, cause tmpeg doesn't keep the gop-structure like it is in original. I'd suppose to use rempeg2 so ifoedit can handle the resulting .m2v.

I've heard, that there is a way to get the original structure even with tmpeg, but sorry, I don't know it in detail.
