Of course it's worth it. The only thing you should consider is whether or not you have that much money to spend on it.

The M3 comes with a handful of emulators, plus there are a bunch of standalone emulators available on Maxconsole and tehskeen.

As for a PDA, there's DSorganize, which has quite a bit of features as well.

And yes, you should get the M3 if you're interested in all those things.

So, what exactly do you need to play DS Roms on your DS?

I am a still a bit in the dark as to what is necessary to accomplish this task. Would this combo allow you to load roms and play them on your DS?
    a) M3 passcard
    b) SD (or miniSD?) card

    Would that do the trick?

    yup.. you'll need:

    1) M3 FlashCart (SD,CF, or miniSD)
    2) Passcard3
    3) SD,CF, or miniSD card (depends on what you got for #1)
    4) Possibly a card reader/writer if you don't have one on your computer

    thats all!

If you get your DS Flashed, will you still be able to go and play online ? Or is it like microsoft/sony and they can detect that you did something to your system and block you?

I think he only asked because he was worried about being banned if he chose to flash it, not so much that he thought it needs to be flashed to play online.
