M3 Real Rumble and GBA expansion on first gen DS?

    The store I'm planning on buying the M3DS Real from says that the slot 2 packs, IE, the rumble and GBA don't work on the original 'fat' DS, can anyone confirm this?

    The cannot fit into the old style DS, technically they do work, but you'll have to remove the circuit boards from the cards and find some way of getting them into a different GBA cart.

    Thanks, I thought so (From looking at pictures of the carts)

    If I buy and old second hand GBA game and pull it apart, and swap the insides, will that work?
