    hello
i recently purchased a Ebuyer 4 Port 10/100M Internet Broadband Router to hook up a second pc to my telewest broadband. Im in the understanding that i plug the broadband modem into the hub and the 2 pcs off of the hub. Telewest need the mac addresses to tell them what is using the modem, i worked out how to find the mac addresses off of the pcs but not the hub, the manual seems to have wandered off too. any help is very much appreciated. thanks.
    Liam.

You are confusing yourself and me too...

Hubs do not have MAC addresses
Routers usually have MAC address listed on the bottom of the unit (12 digit nummber; sometimes the same as the serial number).

Your connection should go like this:
Broadband Cable --> Broadband "Modem" --> Broadband Router (with switch / hub) --> PCs.

Also, depending on the carrier etc, sometimes you dont need a router... really wierd but here (in ON, Canada), with DSL, you can use a swtich/hub to split the connection.... just a thought :p
